The main reasons for the large vibration of self priming pumps are as follows:
1. Due to the incorrect installation of the self priming pump equipment, some users simply fix the self priming non clogging sewage pump randomly from the factory with a wooden strip bracket, along with the self priming pump, on the ground and connect the inlet and outlet pipelines for direct use. Some users also fix the self priming pump on a triangular iron welded bracket to save trouble and effort, Due to the fact that the triangular iron frame is too single and not solid, only a small amount of self suction pump base contacts the triangular iron. This method is incorrect. The correct method is to remove the wooden strip and fix the pump on a hard and flat ground.
2. Due to the misalignment of the coupling concentricity or wear of the rubber block inside the coupling during the installation of the ZX self suction pump, the pump may experience significant vibration. In this case, the concentricity of the coupling should be recalibrated or replaced with a new rubber block and adjusted accordingly.
3. It is also possible that the damage to the bearings of the self suction pump may be due to the large vibration of the self suction pump. Replacing the bearings with new ones can solve the problem.
4. Due to the non-standard diameter configuration of the inlet and outlet pipes of the self suction pump, for example, the inlet pipe of the stainless steel self suction pump is 100mm, and the outlet pipe is also 100mm. Some users, without consulting the manufacturer, directly reduce the inlet pipe, resulting in a small water inlet volume that cannot keep up with the output volume of the self suction pump. This is also the reason for the large vibration of the self suction pump and the abnormal sound of the self suction pump.
5. The reason why the water level in the suction tank has dropped or the water flow is too fast is that the self suction pump brings in air during suction, causing the self suction pump to make abnormal sound.
The self priming pump may malfunction during use. If judged and handled improperly, it will affect the working performance of the self priming pump and even fail to work. The longest occurrence of the self priming pump is that it does not discharge water. Here are some solutions:
(1) Check if the water storage chamber of the pump body is filled with enough water before starting (at least the water level exceeds the centerline of the impeller). Otherwise, add enough water.
(2) Whether the rotation direction meets the requirements. If there is inconsistency, it can be adjusted to align with the rotation direction of the pump.
(3) Is the impeller port of the self suction sewage pump blocked. If there is a blockage, it needs to be cleared.
(4) Is there any leakage or blockage in the suction pipe. If any, it should be immediately ruled out.
(5) Check if the mechanical seal and skeleton oil seal are damaged. If damaged, it needs to be replaced.
(6) The reflux hole inside the pump body must be unobstructed, otherwise, clean the reflux hole and remove blockages.
(7) If the speed of the water pump is too low, it should be allowed to reach the normal speed.
