Daily maintenance
1. Bearing damage: The material used for the bearings of the magnetic pump is high-density carbon. If the pump runs out of water or there are impurities inside the pump, it will cause damage to the bearings. If the coaxiality requirement between the inner and outer magnetic rotors of the cylindrical coupling cannot be guaranteed, it will directly affect the service life of the bearing.
2. Insufficient flow: The main reasons for insufficient flow include impeller damage, insufficient speed, high head, and blockage of debris in the pipe
3. Insufficient head: The causes of this malfunction include air in the conveying medium, damaged impeller, insufficient rotational speed, excessive specific gravity of the conveyed liquid, and excessive flow rate.
4. Shaft fracture: The material used for the pump shaft of the magnetic pump is 99% aluminum oxide porcelain. The main reason for the shaft fracture is that the shaft is twisted and broken due to the dry wear of the bearings during the pump's idle operation. When disassembling the pump for inspection, it can be seen that the bearings are severely worn. The main way to prevent the pump from breaking is to avoid idling the pump.
5. Magnetic pump cannot pump out liquid: The inability of a magnetic pump to pump out liquid is the most common malfunction of a pump, and there are many reasons for it. Firstly, check whether there is any air leakage in the suction pipeline of the pump, whether the air inside the suction pipeline is discharged, whether the amount of liquid filled in the magnetic pump is sufficient, whether there is any debris blocking the suction pipe, and whether the pump is reversed (especially after replacing the motor or repairing the power supply line). Also, pay attention to whether the suction height of the pump is too high. If the above inspection still cannot solve the problem, the pump can be disassembled for inspection to see if the pump shaft is broken. The dynamic and static rings of the pump should also be checked for integrity, and the entire rotor should be able to move slightly axially. If axial movement is difficult, check if the carbon bearing is too tightly combined with the pump shaft.
matters needing attention
1. The ambient temperature of the pump during use should be less than 40 ℃, and the temperature rise of the motor should not exceed 75 ℃.
2. After 1000 hours of normal operation of the magnetic pump, the wear of the bearings and end face moving rings should be inspected and replaced with non reusable vulnerable parts.
3. Due to the fact that the cooling and lubrication of the magnetic pump bearings rely on the medium being transported, it is absolutely prohibited to operate without load, while avoiding the spatiotemporal load caused by restarting after a power outage during operation.
4. For media that are prone to precipitation and crystallization, they should be cleaned promptly after use and the accumulated liquid in the pump should be drained.
5. If there are solid particles in the medium being transported, a filter screen should be added at the pump inlet. If there are ferromagnetic particles, a magnetic filter should be added.
6. The medium being transported and its temperature should be within the allowable range of the pump material. The operating temperature of engineering plastic pumps is<60 ℃, the operating temperature of metal pumps is<100 ℃, the conveying suction pressure is not more than 0.2MPa, the maximum working pressure is 1.6MPa, the density is not more than 1600Kg/m3, and the viscosity is not more than 30X10-6m2/S, which is a liquid without hard particles and fibers.
