The first method is to install a suction bottom valve at the end of the suction pipe of the self suction sewage pump.
The suction bottom valve is actually a check valve that ensures that the water flow can only enter the suction pipe from the pool and cannot backflow. Therefore, if the suction pipe is filled with water, although the elevation of the pump axis is higher than the working water level of the pool, due to the function of the suction bottom valve, the water in the suction pipe will not flow into the pool, which can keep the suction pipe full of water and ensure that the pump can start automatically and quickly. The reliability of this suction method is affected by the quality of the suction bottom valve. For example, if it is not tightly closed or leaks, the water in the suction pipe will slowly flow into the pool. Over time, there will be no water in the suction pipe, resulting in the need for manual water filling when the water pump starts.
Secondly, the self suction sewage pump reduces the bends, drop height, and horizontal distance of the inlet pipeline.
Thirdly, the self priming sewage pump is equipped with a suction tank in front of the pump.
This method requires setting up a suction tank on the water pump suction pipe. Before the first operation of the water pump, the tank should be manually filled with water. After the first operation stops, because the inlet pipe of the suction tank is higher than the water surface height inside the pipe, although the water surface height inside the tank is lower than the water surface height inside the tank, the water in the tank will not flow back and enter the tank. Therefore, the suction tank can store a certain amount of water, Also, because the height of the water outlet pipe (i.e. the suction pipe of the water pump) of the suction tank is lower than the water surface height inside the pipe, it can ensure that the suction pipe of the water pump is filled with water. When the water pump runs again in the future, the water in the tank is pumped out by the water pump, causing negative pressure in the tank. The water in the tank is replenished to the suction tank under the action of atmospheric pressure, passing through the water in the suction tank.
Fourthly, a vacuum pump is installed on the suction pipeline of the self priming sewage pump. Before starting the water pump, the vacuum pump is first started to fill the suction pipeline of the water pump with water, ensuring that the water pump starts automatically and quickly. This water absorption method requires a complete automatic control system to ensure normal operation.
