Common oil pump selection

We refer to pumps that transport various types of oil as oil pumps. Commonly used oil pump products include centrifugal oil pumps, gear oil pumps, pneumatic oil pumps, high-temperature resistant oil pumps, self priming oil pumps, etc. Choose different oil pump products based on different types of oil. Before selecting the oil pump, it is necessary to confirm what type of oil the transported oil belongs to. Usually, centrifugal oil pumps can be used to transport kerosene, gasoline, and diesel to meet the requirements. It should be noted that when transporting flammable and explosive oils such as gasoline, copper impellers must be used, and explosion-proof motors are required for the motor. The mechanical sealing components should be corrosion-resistant, and it is best to use PTFE materials for mechanical seals. When transporting oil media with high viscosity similar to gear oil, gear oil pumps or pneumatic oil pumps should be selected to handle it. In addition, if the liquid being transported is a high-temperature conductive oil medium, high-temperature resistant conductive oil pump products must be selected before use. In addition, when extracting oil from oil drums, electric or pneumatic oil drum pumps can be used.

Oil pump model

Self suction pump is a type of oil pump that replaces cast iron impeller with copper impeller and is equipped with explosion-proof motor on the basis of self suction pump. This series of self suction pumps is mainly suitable for various light oil products in oil tank trucks. The self suction height is about 4-5 meters, and can also be made into integral stainless steel self suction pump products.
