Explosion proof requirements for explosion-proof submersible pumps: This requires that the electrical equipment used should be designed and manufactured according to the specified conditions. When used in places with certain explosive hazards, even if various equipment failures occur, it will not cause the surrounding explosive gas environment to be ignited and exploded.

 

To ensure that the submersible motor has a certain level of explosion-proof performance and can meet the requirements of use in explosive environments, it is necessary to take various measures such as the structure of the submersible motor, the manufacturing materials of its components, and the manufacturing process. The explosion-proof submersible pump is an improved version of the ordinary submersible sewage pump. The submersible motor adopts an explosion-proof motor on the basis of the ordinary submersible sewage pump submersible motor, and an explosion-proof head is used at the outlet of the pump's external cable. Its function is to take isolation measures between the conductive part and the explosive medium, or to prevent dangerous sparks and local heating in the conductive part that may come into contact with the explosive mixture.

 

The explosion-proof level of the motor consists of three parts

 

1) Classification of safety levels for the use of different electrical equipment in explosive gas areas (Zone 0, Zone 1, Zone 2). The selection of rotating motors can be divided into explosion-proof type (code d), positive pressure type (p), increased safety type (e), and spark free type (n)

2) The classification of explosive mixtures of gases or vapors is divided into three categories: IIA, IIB, and IIC. These levels are mainly distinguished based on the Large Test Safety Gap (MESG) or Small Igniting Current (MICR).

3) The division of temperature groups for igniting a certain medium. Mainly divided into T1-450 ℃ < T, T2-300 < T ≤ 450 ℃, T3-200 < T ≤ 300 ℃, T4-135 < T ≤ 200 ℃, T5-100 < T ≤ 135, T6-85 < T ≤ 100 ℃
