Pneumatic double seat regulating valve is an important part of the automatic control system in the production process, mainly composed of a multi spring straight stroke pneumatic actuator and a straight through double seat regulating valve body. The straight stroke pneumatic actuator is powered by an air source and equipped with an electro-pneumatic locator. It can receive analog signals from the control system of 4-20mA or 0-10V to drive the valve core to move up and down, automatically controlling the valve opening, thereby achieving continuous adjustment of process parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow rate, and liquid level. A double seat valve has two valve core balls, upper and lower. The thrust exerted by the fluid on the upper and lower valve cores is opposite in direction but similar in magnitude. The unbalanced force is very small, allowing for a large pressure difference. The rated flow coefficient is larger than that of a single seat valve of the same caliber, but the leakage of this valve is greater than that of a single seat valve. Suitable for clean media situations where leakage requirements are not strict and there is a large pressure difference before and after the valve. Widely used in automatic control systems in industrial sectors such as power, metallurgy, petroleum, chemical, light industry, and food.

 

The difference between a pneumatic double seat regulating valve and a single seat regulating valve is that the internal structure of a single seat valve only has a valve core and a valve seat; A double seat valve has two valve cores and seats. The advantage of a large single seat is that it has good sealing performance when closed, but it is suitable for lower pressure differences. Two seaters are the opposite.
